We are excited to announce that the First International Poster Design Competition (Design for Change) Exhibition will be held in Indonesia on June 9, 2025, in collaboration with Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH)! This exhibition is the result of an agreement between the Borderless Graphic Designers Group (BGD) from Canada and the Visual Communication Design Department of Universitas Pelita Harapan. It aims to showcase outstanding creative works from talented designers worldwide, fostering artistic exchange, inspiration, and innovation. The Narcissist’s Mirror: When Ego Shapes Policy When leaders prioritize personal power over national well-being, policies become self-serving rather than beneficial for the people.This theme critiques political narcissism and its consequences, urging designers to showcase distorted reflections of power, authoritarian imagery, or leaders blinded by their own egos. 🇨🇦 Canadian Perspective: Stronger Together: Defending Diversity in Canada prides itself on inclusivity, but rising global nationalism threatens this identity. How can we visually celebrate diversity? Posters might feature a multicultural mosaic forming Canada, diverse hands holding the maple leaf, or a contrast between unity and division.
