Sara is a visual communicator who enjoys discovering the intricacies and curiosities of the world through stories and the characters within them. She is currently studying at Capilano University’s IDEA Program where she is learning branding, interactive design, and illustration. She is passionate about the art of storytelling in all its forms. Sara is a student member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers, the Graphic Designers of Canada, and the Canadian Association of Professional Image Creators. She has been awarded the Ray Hrynkow Scholarship in 2019, Silver for Editorial & Book Design for the 2019 Advertising & Design Club of Canada Student Competition, and Honourable Mention for Interactive Design for the 2020 Salazar Awards. Her work has also been selected for publication in the 2018 and 2019 Applied Arts magazine student edition. Sara was selected to study abroad in Darmstadt, Germany during her Spring 2020 school semester and has been awarded scholarships for her global citizenship and to support her endeavours. Sara will continue pursuing multiple avenues within communication design and use her design skills to create a positive change in humans’ everyday lives.
